A brutal altercation erupted between passengers on an Air Caraibes flight from Paris to Cayenne on February 11, 2022.

The brawl took place in the cabin of the Airbus A350, registered F-HSIS, as it was carrying out flight TX570 from Paris Orly Airport (ORY) to Cayenne Felix Eboue Airport (CAY) in French Guiana.

Footage shared on social media shows at least three men exchanging punches in the cabin. One flight attendant was injured as he attempted to control the situation.

Upon landing in Cayenne, three men were arrested by officers from the French Border Police (PAF). They face up to three years in prison.

“These are extremely rare incidents,” said Eric Michel, deputy general manager of Air Caraibes to local media La Première. “We reserve the right to lodge a complaint.“
