Canadian business jet manufacturer Bombardier joins Boeing, Airbus, and Embraer in suspending all activities with Russian clients.

“Bombardier has suspended all activities with Russian clients, including all forms of technical assistance. We will continue to adhere to international laws, regulations, and sanctions, as they evolve,” the company announced in a statement dated March 4, 2022.

Reuters report indicated that 5% or 6% of Bombardier’s business jets are delivered to Russian customers.

Canada closed its airspace to Russian-owned, chartered, or operated aircraft as of February 27, 2022. On the same day, Aeroflot violated a ban on entering Canadian airspace, the country’s transport regulator, Transport Canada said.
