KLM Cityhopper receives second Embraer E195 from order of 25

AirFrance-KLM subsidiary, KLM Cityhopper, has received a second Embraer E195-E2 aircraft to its fleet from an order of 25 aircraft. The 132-seater was delivered by Aircastle from Embraer’s São José dos Campos facility in São Paulo, Brazil.

The first Embraer E195-E2 added to the KLM Cityhopper was delivered to Amsterdam Schiphol airport, the Netherlands, on February 25, 2021 and began operations on March 1, 2021 flying from Warsaw, Poland

KLM Cityhopper has an order of 25 E195-E2s with an option of 10 more E195-E2s. By the end of 2021, the airline expects to receive 5 more aircraft which will be put on European routes. Of the remaining 18 aircraft, 15 will be delivered by 2024. 

The Embraer E195-E2 is the biggest aircraft type within the airline‘s 51-aircraft all-Embraer fleet which includes 32 Embraer 190s and 17 Embraer 175s.
