All flights are canceled for September 2, 2021, except for some potential limited Delta Air Lines flights, according to the airport’s Twitter page.

“We are working with airlines to resume commercial service, but the situation is fluid as we all attempt to rebound. We hope for more normal operations later in the week,” Erin Burns of Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport (MSY) told WDSU New Orleans.
Passengers are advised not to go to the airport and make arrangements directly with their airlines.
The airport is currently in communication with the Federal Aviation Authority on its timeline for assessments of its navigational aids and Air Traffic Control Tower functionality.
