Etihad returns to Beijing, China with weekly direct flights from Abu Dhabi starting June 29, 2022, almost two years after it resumed flights to Shanghai.
The national carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) said that this will be the first regular direct international passenger flight to resume for Beijing under the latest mandate of China’s Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, in response to Covid-19.
The Beijing route will be the second China destination that Etihad Airways is resuming after it restarted scheduled services from Abu Dhabi to Shanghai, one of China’s biggest cities, in July 2020.
